ChainCatcher news, according to Nikkei, U.S. President Trump's son Eric Trump will attend the special shareholders' meeting of the Tokyo Stock Exchange-listed company Metaplanet on September 1. Eric Trump serves as an advisor to Metaplanet, which invests in Bitcoin.
The extraordinary shareholders' meeting will be held in Tokyo, with the agenda including proposals to amend the company's articles of incorporation to raise new funds. Before the meeting, Eric Trump will give a keynote speech at the Bitcoin Asia Conference held in Hong Kong on August 28-29.
