Metaplanet CEO: $1.4 billion IPO completed, with over 70 institutional investors participating

ChainCatcher news, Simon Gerovich, CEO of the Japanese Bitcoin treasury company Metaplanet, announced on the X platform that the company has successfully completed its public offering, with multiple institutional investors participating, including mutual funds, sovereign wealth funds, and hedge funds. Nearly 100 investors participated in the roadshow, and ultimately over 70 investors made investments. This financing will propel Metaplanet into the next stage of development and continue to expand Bitcoin on its balance sheet. According to previously disclosed information, Metaplanet raised approximately $1.4 billion.
