Thailand's cryptocurrency ETF will expand to assets beyond Bitcoin

ChainCatcher news, Thailand is planning to expand its domestic cryptocurrency trading platform's exchange-traded fund (ETF) program from Bitcoin to other digital tokens, expected to launch early next year.

The Secretary-General of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) of Thailand, Pornanong Budsaratragoon, stated that the SEC and other relevant agencies are drafting rules for the new ETFs provided by local mutual funds and institutions, and further elaborated on the plans announced earlier this year.
