ChainCatcher news, according to ZachXBT monitoring, the attacker address related to the Coinbase security incident (0x8Da…Ea30) has shown unusual activity again.

The attacker first exchanged approximately 5 million DAI for 5 million USDC, and after holding the USDC for about 35 minutes, has transferred the funds via a cross-chain bridge. ZachXBT pointed out that Circle seems to have failed to freeze this USDC fund within that time window. It is reported that part of the funds was transferred using Circle's official cross-chain transfer protocol (CCTP).
