Google plans to provide Anthropic with hundreds of billions of dollars in cloud computing power

ChainCatcher news, according to Bloomberg, Anthropic is negotiating with Google, a subsidiary of Alphabet, to sign a "high tens of billions of dollars" cloud computing service agreement to provide computing power for its AI training and inference; the two parties have collaborated before and Google has invested approximately $3 billion in total.

The news states that Google rose about 3.5% in after-hours trading.
