The main suspect in the 60,000 BTC money laundering case, Qian Zhimin, also holds XRP in addition to Bitcoin

According to Caixin, Qian Zhimin, the main suspect in the laundering case involving 60,000 BTC, was arrested by the police with a digital device confiscated. On the eve of the criminal trial in September 2025, he provided the access code for the device and the passwords for two encrypted wallets. Ultimately, the police discovered that in addition to 61,000 bitcoins, he also held other cryptocurrencies worth a total of £67 million, including XRP.
