The Smarter Web Company, a UK Bitcoin treasury company, announced that it has completed a private placement of 4,286,410 shares of common stock according to a previously signed subscription agreement. This placement raised approximately £1.5374 million (about $2 million, before expenses), equivalent to about £0.36 per share. The company expects to receive approximately 98.25% of the net proceeds, and the remaining balance of common stock under the current subscription agreement that has not yet been placed is 52,377,540 shares.
