A blank block was mined at height 954352 in Bitcoin

2026-06-19 15:15:28
Collection

According to mempool data, miners mined an empty block at Bitcoin height 954352 (that is, the block only contains a transaction for the block reward Coinbase), with only a 62-second time interval from the previous block height.

Miners pack empty blocks out of economic considerations, and this is the wisest choice for miners. In order to make full use of this time for mining and avoid conflicts with transactions packed in the parent block, miners cannot fill the block with transactions, meaning miners can only attempt to mine empty blocks.
