The Moscow Exchange plans to launch perpetual futures for Bitcoin and Ethereum for professional investors

According to bits.media, Maria Patrikeeva, Managing Director of the Derivatives Market at the Moscow Exchange, stated that the exchange plans to launch Bitcoin and Ethereum perpetual futures contracts for professional investors and aims to expand the tradable cryptocurrencies to ten.

Perpetual futures are daily rollover contracts with no fixed expiration date, providing flexibility in position management. The exchange will launch crypto derivatives in the summer of 2025, and currently, professional investors can trade quarterly and monthly futures for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Ripple, and Tron.
