Coinbase Asset Management President: Bitcoin will exceed $300,000 by 2030

Anthony Bassili, President of Coinbase Asset Management, stated that his team has a price target for Bitcoin to exceed $300,000 by 2030. He also pointed out that as the market capitalization of Bitcoin continues to expand, its cyclical return rates will keep narrowing, and achieving parity with gold is a longer-term process.

In the interview, Bassili also discussed how pension funds, endowment funds, and sovereign funds allocate Bitcoin, as well as the common allocation ratio of 1% to 5% of Bitcoin adopted by wealth advisors. He introduced the user base and operational logic of the Coinbase Bitcoin Yield Fund and discussed the time required for tokenized products, such as tokenized funds and iCapital linked funds, to reach advisory channels.

Additionally, he analyzed the correlation between Bitcoin and gold in the era of fiscal dominance and mentioned the value storage index that incorporates Bitcoin and gold into the same vehicle.
