Burwick Law and Wolf Popper expand the scope of the Pump.fun lawsuit
ChainCatcher news, according to TheBlock, law firms Burwick Law and Wolf Popper have expanded the scope of their lawsuit against Pump.fun, naming the Solana Foundation, Solana Labs, Jito, and several high-ranking individuals in the Solana ecosystem as defendants, including Solana co-founders Anatoly Yakovenko and Raj Gokal.In a revised complaint submitted on Wednesday, the two law firms accused Anatoly Yakovenko, as well as Solana Foundation Executive Director Dan Albert, Chair Lily Liu, and former Communications Director Austin Federa, of violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). The allegations include Pump.fun's violations of multiple U.S. financial crime prevention regulations, failure to implement anti-money laundering measures, exposing the public to criminal risks, and assisting in the creation and promotion of bad tokens, as well as trademark law violations. The lawsuit claims that Pump.fun profited $722.85 million from "illegal gambling operations," while Jito Labs is accused of intercepting profitable trades and funneling them to the highest bidder.
