Ukraine imposes sanctions on entities facilitating asset transfers to Russia via cryptocurrency, involving 60 companies
ChainCatcher news, according to the Ukrainian Truth newspaper, Ukrainian President Zelensky has signed a decree imposing sanctions on individuals and legal entities that assist Russia in transferring assets through cryptocurrency.The sanctions involve 60 companies, of which 55 are registered enterprises in the Russian Federation, including 19 large cryptocurrency miners, 17 operators of digital financial asset information systems, 19 components of Russian financial infrastructure, and 5 operators of cryptocurrency exchanges involved in evading sanctions.In addition, Ukraine has also imposed sanctions on 73 individuals, including managers and owners of the sanctioned companies, as well as officials from the Russian central bank.
