NEAR co-creation sharing ecological application construction direction and distribution suggestions, covering AI, cross-chain payment, and privacy transactions, among other directions

Illia Polosukhin, co-founder of NEAR, stated that recently the activity of developers within the ecosystem has increased and the development threshold has further lowered, focusing on what kind of applications to build and how to establish distribution channels. In this regard, he proposed a series of potential construction directions, covering AI electronic pets that combine NEAR AI on-chain verifiable reasoning with non-fungible tokens (NFTs), a universal checkout component that supports full-chain intent payments, a decentralized encyclopedia that combines prediction markets with AI-generated content, a privacy off-chain trading (OTC) market based on NEAR Intents and management of anti-liquidation lending and perpetual contracts, a cross-chain activity registration custody tool in the form of a staking deposit, privacy code review agents, enterprise equity structure management tools, Delta neutral strategy management, privacy tracking single transactions based on view keys, end-to-end encrypted medical auxiliary diagnostic systems, privacy voice transcription desktop applications, and AI benchmarking based on private test sets.Regarding product distribution, he suggested combining NEARLegion with community channels like X, achieving multi-chain wallet compatibility through Aurora Intent Connect to lower cross-chain thresholds, and actively expanding across communities and platforms like Product Hunt.

Magic Eden: Current open orders are not affected by this vulnerability; users in the EVM market from February to October 2024 need to revoke related contract authorizations

Magic Eden announced that the vulnerability occurred in the NFT trading protocol Payment Processor V2 maintained by Limit Break. Magic Eden adopted this protocol for EVM network transaction settlements in 2024 but stopped using V2 in October 2024 and will completely shut down the EVM market in the first quarter of 2026. Therefore, NFTs currently listed on Magic Eden are not affected by this vulnerability.NFTs listed through its EVM market between February and October 2024 may be affected, while listings after October 2024 are generally not impacted. The platform is contacting the protocol owner and maintainer Limit Break to explore other risk mitigation measures, including pausing protocol transfers, and will continue to investigate the actual scope of the impact.Magic Eden reminds users who have listed or traded NFTs on its EVM market to revoke relevant contract authorizations on the Ethereum, Polygon, and Base networks. Users can filter the address through revoke.cash and revoke all authorizations marked as "approved for all" for NFTs. Magic Eden emphasizes that revoking authorization cannot recover assets that have already been transferred.Yuga Labs' Vice President of Blockchain Quit stated today that at 9 AM Eastern Time, attackers exploited the Payment Processor V2 vulnerability to steal a large number of NFTs. After contacting the LimitBreak team, the latter quickly paused the similarly affected Payment Processor V3. However, V2 could not be paused, and V3 on ApeChain is also temporarily unable to be paused. Therefore, the team implemented a white-hat operation, successfully transferring and protecting 23,155 NFTs valued at over 5.7 million dollars.

According to Chainwire, the crypto travel booking platform Travala and AVA Foundation announced a matching buyback arrangement. Travala will fund the buyback independently and in addition to the existing rewards supplementary buyback from AVA Foundation, increasing the monthly open market buyback amount from 1 times the member rewards to 2 times. The matched AVA purchased will be transferred to a new Travala AVA strategic reserve wallet, which is multi-sig custodial, and Travala commits that the AVA in it will never be sold or transferred out.Under the existing mechanism, AVA Foundation repurchases an amount of AVA each month equivalent to the amount of AVA distributed to AVA Smart members in the previous month and transfers it back to the ecological incentive wallet, with a historical total of 4,824,722 AVA repurchased. The first matched buyback has been completed: the Foundation repurchased 369,881.04 AVA in September, corresponding to the member rewards in August; Travala independently matched and purchased another 369,881.04 AVA, totaling 739,762.08 AVA. The Travala portion has been transferred to address 0x7bed1889c21d9eb3560463c14cd74fe29f2d03b6, and both buybacks can be verified on-chain separately. The AVA transferred to this wallet is permanently locked, with the monthly portion removed from the circulating supply and excluded from the official circulating supply through the AVA circulating supply interface. Travala will submit the reserve wallet address to CoinMarketCap and CoinGecko, and both parties will publicly report the numbers of the two buybacks each month.
