According to CriptoNoticias, the Ethereum Foundation (EF) is deepening its collaboration with educational institutions in Argentina. The University of Buenos Aires (UBA) established a Research Center for Cryptography and Distributed Systems in early November, which is closely linked to the Ethereum Foundation ecosystem. The Argentine software development company Lambda Class donated $1 million to the center, of which $250,000 has been allocated for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral scholarships. The center aims to integrate interdisciplinary research on blockchain and distributed systems, covering areas such as mathematics, computer science, and fintech.Additionally, Tomasz Stańczak, co-executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, confirmed that the foundation is advancing an educational project involving several universities in Argentina. Starting in 2026, students at the Estación Buenos Aires school in Buenos Aires will receive blockchain technology certificates certified by the Ethereum Foundation, with courses including the smart contract development language Solidity.
