Anthropic plans to allow existing shareholders to sell shares in the IPO
According to a report by Sina Finance, informed sources say that Anthropic has been formulating a plan to allow existing shareholders to sell part of their holdings in the IPO. The report states that the company is also considering setting a lock-up period for share sales that is longer than usual after the listing. It is currently unclear how many shares existing shareholders can sell in the IPO, nor which categories of shareholders can participate in the sale.
The report states that Anthropic plans to publicly disclose the IPO prospectus after Labor Day in the United States. The IPO is likely to take place at the end of September or the beginning of October, but Anthropic may also choose to delay the issuance.
