The RTX Spark series PCs developed by NVIDIA in collaboration with MediaTek are expected to launch this fall. Microsoft and more game developers have recently announced updates and support for this platform. The first batch of orders from ASUS and MSI has been fully booked, and they are actively seeking more allocations from NVIDIA. ASUS co-CEO Hu Shubin pointed out that channel customer bookings have exceeded expectations, with the initial supply completely reserved, and they are actively placing additional supply orders with NVIDIA, holding a highly optimistic outlook for next year's sales. MSI's product manager Peng Renfang revealed that customers from mainland China, Taiwan, and the United States are actively placing orders, with the first batch of laptops equipped with the high-end N1X chip nearly sold out, and they are actively following up with NVIDIA for more orders. The RTX Spark super chip is built using TSMC's 3-nanometer process, featuring NVIDIA's Blackwell RTX GPU connected to a 20-core Grace CPU, utilizing a Windows on Arm architecture. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang noted that RTX Spark brings together CUDA, RTX, and AI platforms into a single super chip, allowing ground agents, front-end models, creative workflows, and RTX games to run on laptops, "This is the new PC, personal AI computer." The processors are divided into the high-end N1x and the mainstream N1, with the actual selling price of PCs equipped with N1x yet to be announced, but the market generally believes it will start from 110,000 yuan. The first wave of partner brands includes ASUS, MSI, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, Acer, and Gigabyte will also follow suit. Optimism governance vote sparks controversy: 5.469 million OP tokens transferred from user airdrop to ecological fund

According to CoinDesk, a governance proposal from the Optimism community has been approved, reallocating 546.9 million OP tokens originally planned for user airdrops to the "Strategic Ecosystem Fund" managed by the Optimism Foundation, sparking discussions in the community about governance transparency and user rights. The OP tokens involved account for approximately 12.7% of the total supply, valued at about $49.7 million at current prices. The Optimism Foundation stated that as the ecological strategy shifts towards institutional adoption and corporate partnerships, large-scale user airdrops are no longer fully aligned with the current development direction. Unused tokens can be utilized for ecosystem incentives, partnership building, and enterprise-level project expansion. The final vote resulted in 17.974 million OP in support and 10.931 million OP against the proposal.A key turning point occurred 16 minutes and 52 seconds before the voting ended, when the Optimism core development team Test in Prod (delegate.testinprod-io.eth) cast 8.486 million OP in support, raising the approval rate from 45.77% to 61.84%, ultimately pushing the proposal through. If the vote from Test in Prod were excluded, the support rate for the proposal would only be 46.47%, which would not have passed, and the related tokens might have remained in the user allocation pool. The Optimism Foundation previously committed to disclosing the cumulative usage of the fund and related results through an annual budget report. This vote has also reignited discussions about the influence of "large delegated voting rights" in DAO governance and the balance of rights for token holders.

Industry leaders warn that AI agents could reduce billion-dollar cryptocurrency hacks to "spare change."

At the 2026 Wyoming Blockchain Conference, Global Settlement Network CEO Ryan Kirkley warned that AI agents could allow hackers to invade Wi-Fi networks, passwords, and wallets on an unprecedented scale, making current billion-dollar crypto attacks seem trivial. Kirkley stated, "We thought these bridge attacks were serious, but they are actually just pocket change." In the past, attacking someone with $20,000 in assets was too costly, but now an agent can attack everyone simultaneously.Bill Laboon, Vice President of Technical Operations at the Web3 Foundation, agreed, believing that the efficiency gains brought by decentralized systems also benefit attackers. Fahmi Syed, President of the Midnight Foundation, emphasized that agents need clear parameter settings and should not be granted unrestricted access to credit card, social security information, and various accounts. Kirkley believes that setting agent permissions is relatively easy to resolve, while the security protection of the underlying systems is a greater concern.Regarding trust issues, Laboon pointed out that large language models still occasionally produce hallucinations, which makes him reluctant to entrust personal retirement funds to agents. Richard Shorten, founder of Silvermine Capital Advisors, believes that the development speed of agent AI technology has exceeded people's capacity to accept it. Kirkley also mentioned the regulatory responsibility dilemma, where the attribution of responsibility and the mechanism for recovering funds remain unclear when autonomous agents make mistakes or even break the law.

hot_img U.S. Senator demands that Waller disclose his conversations with Trump, questioning the transparency of the Federal Reserve

Nick Timiraos, the chief economic reporter for The Wall Street Journal and known as the "mouthpiece of the Federal Reserve," recently wrote that Federal Reserve Chairman Kevin Warsh is facing intense scrutiny from Congress. On Wednesday local time, four members of the Senate Banking Committee, led by Senator Chris Van Hollen, jointly sent a letter to Warsh, demanding that he publicly disclose all communication details with President Donald Trump.Earlier reports indicated that Warsh had maintained frequent phone contact with Trump since taking office, but the publicly available schedule from the Federal Reserve does not record any related calls during Warsh's early days in office. Lawmakers believe that this "selective transparency" could raise concerns about government interference in monetary policy.Kevin Hassett, the director of the White House Council of Economic Advisers, previously stated that Warsh has long engaged in economic discussions with Trump but claimed that Trump would not pressure the Federal Reserve. Trump later denied the related reports, stating that he had only had a brief conversation with Warsh a few days prior.Currently, the Federal Reserve has stated that it will continue to delay the disclosure of the chairman's schedule according to established rules. The market is watching to see if Warsh will provide additional information and whether this matter will affect public confidence in the independence of the Federal Reserve.

first_img The death of Ondo Finance's founder has sparked a power struggle, with his mother suing the current CEO

According to CoinDesk, the tokenized asset company Ondo Finance is embroiled in a corporate control dispute following the death of founder Nathan Allman this year. The estate has filed a lawsuit in the Delaware Chancery Court, accusing former president and current CEO Ian De Bode of improperly attempting to seize control of the company while the estate certification process is not yet complete and the company's voting rights are temporarily suspended. The three legal documents request the judge to determine who legally controls Ondo Finance and to prohibit the company from taking significant actions until the governance dispute is resolved.According to the complaint, Nathan Allman was the CEO, sole director, and controlling shareholder of Ondo at the time of his death, and his voting rights could not be exercised until his mother, Kathleen Allman, was formally appointed as the estate representative through the Hawaiian probate process on June 26. The estate alleges that De Bode claimed to automatically become CEO and appointed himself as the sole director before this, taking actions such as hiring consultants and approving performance grants. After obtaining the voting rights, Kathleen Allman voted to remove De Bode from all positions and appointed herself as chairwoman and interim CEO during the board meeting on July 24. De Bode responded that he regretted the lawsuit filed by Allman, stating that her claims lack basis, and that the company still has the support of major investors and key stakeholders such as the Ondo Foundation. The court has not yet ruled on the related allegations, and the aforementioned documents only reflect the statements of the estate.
