ElizaOS founder accuses daos.fun founder of profiting $6.6 million through insider trading with ai16z

ElizaOS founder Shaw accused daos.fun founder baoskee of insider trading during the renaming and migration process of the ai16z project, claiming that he profited approximately $6.6 million by selling ai16z. Shaw stated that in June 2025, the project team promised to launch Snapshot voting so that the community could decide whether to rename the project, after a16z had requested a name change to avoid trademark disputes.Shaw claimed that, despite the voting mechanism not being launched as promised, baoskee sold all ai16z in the daos.fun execution wallet after being aware of the pressure to rename and the subsequent migration arrangements, and continued to sell before the project migrated to elizaOS, causing the token price to drop. Shaw believes that baoskee had information that other holders did not possess at that time. In response, baoskee denied the allegations, stating that the Snapshot voting had actually been launched, and that daos.fun had also self-funded to increase and lock over $1 million in ai16z liquidity. He also countered that Shaw had serious issues regarding project operations, token migration, and the use of development funds. Currently, there are significant discrepancies between the two parties' statements, and Shaw indicated that he would attach relevant Solscan on-chain records at the end of the article.

hot_img Samsung Electronics plans to repurpose the NRD-K R&D production line for wafer foundry use, aiming for mass production of 2nm base chips for HBM

According to South Korean media ZDNet Korea, Samsung Electronics is adjusting the original purpose of its NRD-K Line 2 at the Giheung campus from a research and development facility to a wafer foundry line, with the main target product being the 2nm base chips required for NVIDIA's HBM. This production line is expected to be operational in the second half of 2028, adopting a "Send-Fab" model, which involves receiving wafers from other mass production lines and performing specific processes.NRD-K is the most advanced composite research and development campus built by Samsung Electronics to seize future semiconductor technology, with a total investment of approximately 20 trillion won, planning for three production lines, of which the first line is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2024. This adjustment aims to proactively respond to the expansion of HBM demand driven by investments in AI infrastructure. Samsung plans to first apply the 2nm process to custom HBM and HBM5 to maintain performance advantages.Industry insiders point out that the scale of NRD-K Line 2 is relatively small, making it suitable for operation in the Send-Fab format. However, there are still about two years until the production line is operational, and the final purpose may be adjusted again based on market conditions. Samsung had previously considered using this production line for DRAM production, but after modifications to the relevant plans this month, DRAM capacity will be more concentrated in the Pyeongtaek campus. Equipment procurement orders have not yet been officially issued.

Bitcoin Red Team has completed a foundational scan of the Bitcoin open-source ecosystem and discovered a large number of serious and high-risk vulnerabilities

Bitcoin News posted on the X platform that after two weeks of using cutting-edge AI to scan almost the entire Bitcoin open-source ecosystem for vulnerabilities, Bitcoin Red Team member @callebtc stated, "The easily discoverable vulnerabilities have been addressed," and maintainers are verifying "a large number" of serious and high-risk vulnerabilities.@callebtc indicated that the main findings include: decades of accumulated open-source technical debt are being exposed alongside AI capabilities that can discover vulnerabilities at speeds and scales unattainable by human researchers; Lightning seems particularly vulnerable, with its complexity meaning its security status is "worse than average"; unmaintained Bitcoin projects should be considered vulnerable until their security is confirmed.Projects that began building AI security and auditing processes months ago are now in a completely different position compared to those that have been waiting until now. The Bitcoin Red Team has now completed a foundational scan of almost the entire Bitcoin open-source ecosystem. Easily discoverable vulnerabilities have mostly been addressed, but as AI capabilities improve, external red team testing may need to continue indefinitely. Despite discovering and reporting "a large number" of real serious and high-risk vulnerabilities, @callebtc believes this process will ultimately make Bitcoin stronger. The same AI security review will soon expand to areas far beyond Bitcoin.

ENS DAO officially established a foundation through a proposal to strengthen the governance of the decentralized domain name ecosystem

ENS DAO has voted to approve the proposal "Next Era of ENS DAO" and completed on-chain execution, officially establishing the ENS Foundation to promote the ENS ecosystem into a new governance phase.According to the proposal, the ENS Foundation will become a fully operational organization, equipped with a full-time executive director, a professional team, and a board of directors consisting of 5 members, responsible for undertaking institutional work related to ENS in areas such as law, policy, standard-setting, and brand protection.ENS stated that over the past nearly ten years, ENS has developed into an important infrastructure within the Ethereum ecosystem, with millions of registered domain names, and has been integrated by numerous wallets, applications, and Layer 2 networks. However, the DAO itself lacks legal entity status, making it unable to effectively participate in the governance of the internet naming system, sign institutional cooperation agreements, hire full-time employees, maintain trademark rights, or engage in regulatory discussions. The establishment of the ENS Foundation aims to fill this gap. In the future, the foundation will be responsible for:Representing ENS in internet standard organizations such as ICANN, IETF, and W3C, promoting the recognition and management of the ".ens" top-level domain (TLD);Participating in policy discussions as a legal entity, communicating with regulatory agencies and government departments;Holding and protecting ENS trademarks and intellectual property, combating phishing and impersonation;Hiring full-time employees responsible for ecosystem operations, funding programs, and fund management;Becoming a formal cooperation entity between traditional institutions such as registrars and standard organizations and the ENS ecosystem.
