ar

AR is the native token of the Arweave network, belonging to the ecosystem of decentralized storage platforms. Arweave utilizes blockchain technology to provide permanent data storage, allowing users to store data on the network by paying with AR tokens, ensuring that the data is immutable and permanently accessible. The AR token is primarily used to pay for storage fees and to incentivize miners to provide storage space. Its unique "pay once" model allows users to achieve permanent data storage with a one-time payment, addressing the long-term cost issues of traditional cloud storage.

Data: The meme coin "Behemoth" on the BSC chain briefly surpassed a market value of 2.7 million USD, with a 24H increase of 8251%

According to GMGN data, the meme coin "Behemoth" on the BSC chain briefly surpassed a market cap of 2.7 million USD, currently reported at 1.04 million USD, with a 24H increase of 8251%. Meme coin prices are highly volatile, and investors should participate with caution.Previously, a developer announced the completion of the first real on-chain 4-bit processor (CPU) on the BNB Chain, which consists of 2251 logic gates, including NAND gates and flip-flops, and has been verified cycle by cycle. Its performance specifications are comparable to the 1971 Intel 4004 processor. This on-chain CPU is named "Behemoth" and has successfully run Fibonacci sequence calculations: 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13. Due to the processor's operating rhythm being synchronized with the BNB Chain's block generation, it executes a cycle every 0.45 seconds, with a current operating frequency of about 2.22Hz, referred to by the developer as "possibly the slowest CPU in the universe."The developer stated that in the future, a complete protocol will be made public, allowing anyone to create their own on-chain processors based on this protocol, and supporting inter-calls between processors to build more complex on-chain computing systems in a "building block" manner. Regarding this project, Binance co-founder CZ responded to inquiries about its practical application scenarios: "What is the use case?" which sparked community discussions.

The next Ethereum upgrade "Hegotá" has entered the planning stage, with 66 EIPs competing for a spot in the 2027 hard fork

Ethereum developer Toni Wahrstätter posted on the X platform that Ethereum core developers are planning the next annual upgrade "Hegotá," with 66 Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) currently on the candidate list. Future core developer meetings will screen these proposals to finalize the upgrade content that can be implemented, tested on the development network, deployed on the test network, and has the potential to go live in 2027. Proposals that do not make it into Hegotá will be postponed until the next hard fork, making the current screening process significantly impactful for Ethereum's future development direction.Currently, FOCIL (Fork-Choice Enforced Inclusion Lists) has been identified as one of the important upgrade contents for Hegotá. Developers believe that combining framework transactions (EIP-8141), keying Nonce (EIP-8250), and root references (EIP-8272) will help build native privacy capabilities, allowing privacy applications to operate without relying on third-party intermediaries. Additionally, enhancing scalability is also a crucial direction for Hegotá. Developers propose that it is necessary to prepare for a future increase in the Gas limit to 600 million by repricing data resources (EIP-8131, EIP-8279) and state growth costs (EIP-8368). Although these improvements are not as intuitive as privacy features, they are considered key work to promote Ethereum's scalability in the short term.Other candidate upgrades include shorter block times (EIP-8198), adjustments to the issuance mechanism (EIP-8363), anti-correlation penalty mechanisms (EIP-7716), EVM optimization and simplification, as well as discussions on the first EIPs related to zkEVM and quantum-resistant cryptography. It is reported that Hegotá cannot incorporate all the features the community expects, and the core team needs to make trade-offs between "future vision" and "near-term deliverable upgrades," with most candidate EIPs likely not making it into this upgrade. Currently, it has been 256 days since the launch of the current Glamsterdam upgrade, with the goal of completing deployment by the end of this year. Hegotá is planned to go live in 2027, and in the coming months, core developers and the community will discuss the priorities of various EIPs. Community opinions will still play a role in the screening process, and participants who support or oppose a certain EIP entering Hegotá can present their views to the core development team through public discussions.

Harvard Fund disclosed holdings of $2.21 billion in SpaceX shares, while Bitcoin ETF holdings remained unchanged

Harvard University's latest 13F filing shows that as of June 30, it still holds 3,044,600 shares of BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF IBIT, valued at approximately $101.4 million, with the number of shares unchanged from the end of the first quarter, ending a previous trend of two consecutive quarters of reduction. Harvard reduced its IBIT holdings by 21% in the fourth quarter of 2025 and by another 43% in the first quarter of 2026.Currently, IBIT accounts for about 2.4% of Harvard's disclosed $4.26 billion U.S. stock portfolio. Its gold-related product holdings are even more valuable; as of the end of the second quarter, the combined value of iShares Gold Trust (IAU) and SPDR Gold Trust (GLD) is approximately $171.2 million. Harvard has previously liquidated its position in BlackRock's spot Ethereum ETF, valued at $86.8 million, and did not add any new Ethereum-related positions in the second quarter.Harvard University's largest holding is SpaceX, totaling 12,935,100 shares, valued at $2.21 billion, making it the largest single stock holding disclosed in the filing. The total value of U.S. stock assets disclosed by Harvard this time is approximately $4.3 billion, meaning that the SpaceX holding accounts for 52%.Among other institutions, the Abu Dhabi sovereign wealth fund Mubadala and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority each maintained their holdings of 14,721,900 shares and 8,218,700 shares of IBIT, respectively, with a combined value of approximately $764 million. JPMorgan increased its IBIT holdings from about 8.3 million shares to 10.4 million shares; Morgan Stanley reduced its holdings from 17.3 million shares to about 16.5 million shares, a decrease of 4.5%.
