first_img Chainalysis: Tăng trưởng kinh tế tiền mã hóa ở Singapore 55,4%, quy mô đạt 2840 tỷ USD

Theo báo cáo của Cointelegraph, dữ liệu từ Chainalysis cho thấy, tính đến tháng 6 năm 2026, hoạt động kinh tế tiền điện tử tại Singapore đã tăng 55.4% so với năm trước, đạt quy mô 284 tỷ USD, trở lại vị trí nền kinh tế tiền điện tử lớn nhất khu vực Trung Á, Đông Nam Á và Châu Đại Dương trong bối cảnh toàn khu vực suy giảm.Sự gia tăng chủ yếu đến từ các nền tảng tổ chức, với hoạt động này tăng mạnh 94% lên 60 tỷ USD, và tập trung vào một số nhà tạo lập thị trường, công ty giao dịch ngoài sàn và nhà môi giới tổ chức. Trong cùng thời gian, tổng quy mô kinh tế tiền điện tử của khu vực này giảm 6.8%.Chainalysis chỉ ra rằng sự phát triển của hệ sinh thái tổ chức tại Singapore rất tập trung, chủ yếu thể hiện qua các giao dịch lớn của các nền tảng hiện có, chứ không phải từ sự xuất hiện của nhiều dịch vụ mới. Trong khi đó, Singapore vừa thắt chặt quy định về tiền điện tử, vừa thúc đẩy việc token hóa, stablecoin và thanh toán tài sản kỹ thuật số.Năm 2025, Cơ quan Quản lý Tài chính Singapore (MAS) yêu cầu các công ty tiền điện tử địa phương cung cấp dịch vụ cho khách hàng nước ngoài phải có giấy phép hoặc rời khỏi thị trường. Giám đốc điều hành của StraitsX, Tianwei Liu, cho rằng động thái này đã kiềm chế hoạt động đầu cơ, giúp ngân hàng và các doanh nghiệp lớn tăng tỷ lệ ứng dụng blockchain trong sản xuất. MAS cũng thông qua chương trình BLOOM để triển khai thí điểm stablecoin tuân thủ và gửi tiền ngân hàng được token hóa, Ripple đã tham gia vào ngày 25 tháng 3, thử nghiệm thanh toán thương mại xuyên biên giới bằng RLUSD.Philippines, Thái Lan và Việt Nam nổi bật với các giao dịch chuyển tiền P2P nhỏ lẻ. Dữ liệu từ Chainalysis cho thấy, ba quốc gia này đã thực hiện tổng cộng 5.4 triệu giao dịch chuyển tiền trong nước và quốc tế có giá trị dưới 10,000 USD, chiếm 14.4% tổng giao dịch tương tự trên toàn cầu, nhưng chỉ chiếm 2.5% tổng quy mô kinh tế tiền điện tử toàn cầu;

The UK House of Lords released a 71-page report on stablecoin regulation, criticizing the current regulatory proposals for lacking competitiveness

According to a report titled "Stablecoins: Waiting for Regulation" released by the UK House of Lords Financial Services Regulatory Committee, the global market capitalization of stablecoins has exceeded $310 billion, but the UK pound stablecoin market is still in its infancy, and the construction of the regulatory framework is clearly lagging behind the United States (GENIUS Act) and the European Union (MiCAR).The report criticizes several aspects of the current regulatory proposals from the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Bank of England, focusing on:• The Bank of England's requirement for systemic stablecoin issuers to deposit at least 40% of reserve assets in non-interest-bearing central bank deposits, which the industry believes will severely harm issuers' profitability and the international competitiveness of the UK market;• The proposed holding limits (individual £20,000, corporate £10 million) are considered extremely difficult to implement and may stifle the development of the pound stablecoin market;• The T+1 redemption requirement will impose a significant operational burden on issuers;• The Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) restrictions on deposit-taking institutions issuing stablecoins under independent brands are deemed overly stringent.The report also acknowledges the liquidity support loan mechanism proposed by the Bank of England, considering it an innovative regulatory measure that surpasses other major jurisdictions. The committee calls on regulatory agencies to strictly adhere to the established timeline, ensuring that the complete regulatory framework comes into effect as scheduled on October 25, 2027, and recommends adopting a principle-based, technology-neutral regulatory approach to achieve a reasonable balance between financial stability and market innovation.

U.S. digital asset regulation is set to undergo a turning point: the CLARITY Act has gained bipartisan support and has entered a critical legislative phase

According to CoinDesk, during a recent Senate Banking Committee review, substantial progress was made in advancing the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, referred to as the "CLARITY Act," which passed into the Senate full review stage with a vote of 15 to 9.Several bipartisan lawmakers emphasized the urgent need for the United States to establish a unified regulatory framework covering digital assets to clarify asset classification, trading platform regulation, and market structure rules, thereby providing long-term certainty for the industry. Angela Alsobrooks pointed out from a family perspective that the younger generation shows a natural interest in digital assets, and the regulatory system should strike a balance between "opportunity and protection" to avoid technological development being detached from regulatory constraints. Tim Scott emphasized that legislation should be promoted from the perspective of economic opportunity and the American Dream, while Cynthia Lummis stated that the legislative process has already shown a clear foundation for bipartisan cooperation.Supporters believe that digital assets have become an irreversible trend, with approximately 68 million Americans holding related assets, but a significant amount of trading still occurs on overseas platforms. The U.S. urgently needs to establish a domestic regulatory system to enhance market transparency and investor protection levels.Analysis indicates that the CLARITY Act is seen as a key complement following the stablecoin-related legislation (GENIUS Act). Without supporting rules at the market structure level, the U.S. may lose its leading position in the competition for digital financial infrastructure. As the bill advances to the Senate full stage, there is widespread attention on whether it can achieve final legislation based on bipartisan consensus to establish the core rules of the U.S. digital asset regulatory framework.

WSJ: Stablecoins essentially belong to "private currency" and may pose risks to the financial system

The Wall Street Journal published an article pointing out that although the GENIUS Act and the CLARITY Act are promoting the compliance of stablecoins, the essence of stablecoins still belongs to "private currency," which may pose structural risks to the financial system.The article notes that stablecoins aim to combine the stability of the US dollar with the efficiency of blockchain payments, but because they operate on fragmented, privatized infrastructure, they do not possess the unity of the traditional US dollar system. Although USDT and USDC are pegged to the dollar, their prices may still deviate from 1 dollar.In addition, there is an incentive for stablecoin issuers to enhance returns by allocating high-risk, low-liquidity assets. If the value of these related assets declines, it could trigger de-pegging and concentrated redemption risks. The article cites Chainalysis data stating that stablecoins account for 84% of illegal activities in cryptocurrency, mainly involving sanctions evasion and money laundering, while real economic payment scenarios account for less than 1%.The Wall Street Journal believes that stablecoins are replaying the path of private currency experiments from the "Free Banking Era" in 19th century America, and in the future, they may need to accept stricter regulation like banks and integrate more deeply into the central bank system.

Multiple CFTC officials who questioned the regulation of the prediction market have been suspended and forced to resign

According to Cointelegraph, an investigative report released by The New York Times on Sunday revealed that several senior officials from the CFTC, who had raised regulatory concerns about Polymarket, Crypto.com, and Gemini affiliates, were subsequently suspended, subjected to internal investigations, and forced to resign. The three companies mentioned have been accused of having business ties to the Trump family.The report stated that then-CFTC acting chair Caroline Pham and her senior advisors intervened to assist the aforementioned companies in obtaining the necessary approvals. By the end of 2025, five officials who questioned or enforced cryptocurrency regulatory laws were placed on administrative leave and internal investigation, without being informed of the specific reasons. After leaving, Pham joined the cryptocurrency company MoonPay, which has a partnership with Polymarket, while her senior advisor Brigitte Weyls became the legal counsel for Gemini Titan—whose application was approved with her involvement.On the enforcement front, the CFTC has withdrawn at least five cryptocurrency investigations, with the number of enforcement actions plummeting from over 80 during the Biden administration to just two during Trump's term. In response, a White House spokesperson denied any conflict of interest, stating that "President Trump only acts in the best interest of the American public."
